Rumburgh Parish Council is responsible for the Play Equipment at the Pleasure Ground.  The current equipment has served the community well, and whilst still safe to use, none the less will need replacing soon.

The Parish Council has taken it upon itself to replace the equipment, but in order to do so must first identify suitable replacement, costs of removal of the existing equipment, preparation of the area, the purchase price of the new equipment and the cost of installation. Then the Council needs to fund raise to cover the cost. This is a big undertaking for such a small Parish.

To ensure this happens the Council has appointed a Task & Finish Group to conduct the research and feed back to the Council.  Final decisions can only be made by the Full Council.

The Task & Finish Group comprises three Councillors with a fourth acting in an advisory capacity. The Clerk will join the group in an administrative capacity.

To make this a true community venture and to ensure the Council acts in the best interest of the Parish, the Council invites Rumburgh Parishioners to join the Task & Finish Group.
